History
The Mortgage Professionals began in 1989 in the founder’s garage. Locally owned and operated for almost thirty years, the company has grown to 30+ staff across 5 offices from Kingston to Gananoque.
The Mortgage Professionals are Eastern Ontario’s largest mortgage brokerage, processing over $300m of mortgage volume annually. We are also Kingston’s most recognized mortgage brokerage, having been nominated several times nationally as Mortgage Brokerage of the Year, as Employer of Choice and having won National Mortgage Brokerage of the Year. Our Brokers have been recognized nationally as Top 20 Mortgage Brokers in Canada, locally as Kingston This Week’s Favourite Mortgage Brokers and even in the Canadian Mortgage Hall of Fame.
Community Involvement
The Mortgage Professionals are proud to live and work in Kingston. Over the past 25 years, the company has raised over $120,000 for local charity and community groups. Since 1993, the company has participated in Breast Cancer Action Kingston’s Annual Walk for Awareness, raising over $60,000.
- After hosting an annual golf tournament for the Alzheimer Society of Kingston for 5 years, in 2015 we helped found the inaugural Down Syndrome Associaton of Kingston’s Golf Tournament and have been the title sponsor since, helping to raise over $25,000 for the cause.
- In 2017 we celebrated our 11th year participating in Pitch-In Kingston which had us collecting over 20 bags of garbage around the Kingston community.
- Members of our staff also support Habitat for Humanity, the Kingston Triathlon, Almost Home and others.
